Customs Open House at Palomar

The San Diego Regional Aviation Association will host an open house and panel discussion on the new customs facility at McClellan-Palomar Airport (KCRQ). Earlier this year a US Customs office was opened at the airport, allowing general aviation arriving from foreign countries to land there without having to stop elsewhere for a customs check. A panel featuring members of SDRAA, customs officials, San Diego County officials, and local operators will discuss the customs rules and helpful tips for operators of business aircraft. The event will be held on Thursday, June 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Jet Source, 2056 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad in the Spectrum hangar. A networking cocktail hour will follow the discussion.
